Latest updates on travel between Turkey and Northern Cyprus?
Passenger and vehicle admission procedures will end 60 minutes before the departure time specified on your ticket. No action will be taken for passengers arriving after this time.
Taşucu and Kyrenia Ports close at 23:30 at night and open at 08:00 in the morning. For our night cruises, we have to take you to the port/ship before 23:30. Since our ship arrives at the opposite port in 5 hours, the planned arrival time is 08:00 even if our ship departs late.
We can only take your small pet in a cage in the indoor passenger lounges, and the maximum cage size that can be taken into the lounge is 105cm x 73cm x 79cm. Your oversized pet can travel in its cage on deck where the ship's staff will show. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
Important Information About TR Identities:
If Turkish citizens of all ages (including 0-15 years old) are going to go to the TRNC with their ID card, it is obligatory to have a new type of ID, with a chip and with a photo. Children between the ages of 0-15 can use their passports if they do not have a photo or chip ID.
TRNC and TR Citizens can take their vehicles to Turkey with their IDs with chip.
TRNC citizens who want to go to Turkey with their vehicles will be able to take their vehicles to Turkey with their TRNC ID cards, provided that they obtain their exit permit from the Vehicle Registration Office with their TRNC chip ID cards instead of passports. Vehicle owners who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey can come as tourists for a short time with their ID cards with a chip. Passport obligation continues for people who have residence/work permit or student status when entering/exiting their vehicles.
Important information for non-Turkish license plate (including Cyprus plate) vehicle owners: Any unpaid fines (traffic, bridge and road) tolls) will appear in front of the vehicle owners while leving Turkey. You can make the payment via “GIB application” that you can download to your phone. Vehicle owners who do not pay the fines will not be able to exit. Cash payment for fines are collected only during working hours on weekdays. We invite you to take precautions before arriving the departure port in Turkey.

Can I travel with my ID Card between Turkey and TRNC?
Documents required from citizens of the Republic of Turkey for traveling to TRNC:
• A valid Passport or Identity Card.
Documents required from citizens of the European Union and Schengen Area Countries for travelling to the TRNC:
• A valid Passport or National Identity Card.
Documents required from citizens of other countries for travelling to the TRNC:
• A valid Passport.
Validity of Travel Documents:
• Citizens of countries which do not have an Embassy, Consulate General, Consulate or Representative Office in the TRNC and citizens of the countries that are not members of the EU must have a passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months to be able to enter the TRNC.
• Citizens of countries that have an Embassy, Consulate General, Consulate or Representative Office in the TRNC and citizens of the EU countries must have a passport or travel document valid for at least 2 months to be able to enter TRNC.
Procedures for entry of foreigners to the TRNC:
Foreigners may be required to provide the following documents and information to the Immigration Officer at the port of entry:
• Proof of sufficient financial means to stay in the country and return home country
• Proof of accommodation in the country (hotel payment receipt, or name and address of the invitee)
• Foreigners must accurately and convincingly declare purpose of visit
• If travelling for internship, course or student exchange program, a formal letter from the inviting institution
• If traveling for higher education, an official acceptance letter from the university
• If visiting family, a letter of invitation which provides name, address, phone number and other contact information
• If traveling on a business trip, an official letter of invitation from a company in the TRNC
• If travelling for touristic purpose, a reservation or a rental document for the stays from 30 to 90 days.
Foreigners crossing to the TRNC from Southern Cyprus are also required to present the above mentioned documents/information

Can EU and non-EU citizens travel with their ID between Turkey and TRNC with car?
EU citizens who wants to travel as a tourist with their car must have valid ID card or Passport.
Non-EU citizens who wants to travel as a tourist with their car must have valid Passport.
Only the person whose name is written on the license or a person authorized by a notarized power of attorney can exit.
If the license of the vehicle is in the name of a company, notarized power of attorney of all company partners is required.
Rental cars are not allowed to leave the country.
Vehicle owners must have at least 1 month of North Cyprus compulsory traffic insurance when entering Northern Cyprus. The relevant insurance policy can be taken at the customs area upon entry to Northern Cyprus.
Non-EU citizens who wants to travel as a tourist with their car must have valid Passport.

What do I need to prepare when I travel from TRNC to Turkey with my car?
Owners of vehicles with NORTH CYPRUS license plates must obtain a vehicle exit permit from the Tax Office (Motor Vehicles) before leaving the TRNC with their vehicles.
NORTH CYPRUS citizens can use a new type of chip ID or Passport when exiting with their vehicles.
Vehicle owner have to obtain an exit permit from the bank if their vehicles are mortgaged.
Drivers coming from South to North Cyprus must obtain the G-104 form for the car at the land border in order to travel to Turkey from the ports of Kyrenia or Famagusta.

If the owner of the vehicle is a student in NORTH CYPRUS, they must have the student certificate from the school. Student certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of receipt.
If the vehicle owner is a student in NORTH CYPRUS, he/she must obtain NORTH CYPRUS Traffic Insurance for at least 3 months when entering NORTH CYPRUS. This insurance will be obtained upon arrival at the NORTH CYPRUS ports.

Is driver free when I book a vehicle?
Yes. Our promotion "driver is free with every vehicle" is going on. The driver only pays the departure/arrival taxes.
I bought my tickets. Can I also buy a cabin?
Yes, you can buy the cabin that suits you from the cabin option on the ticket sales page.

Can I change the trip date of my ticket?
Yes , You can change the date of your trip up to 24 hours before the departure time. You cannot change your ticket in the last 24 hours before the departure time.
You can change the date of your ticket by clicking on the passenger names on the right side of the tickets that you received to your e-mail address and clicking on the “Change of the trip” phrase.

I am not going to use my ticket and I want to cancel it.
If you bought your ticket online, you will find a "Cancel Ticket" button next to each ticket in the information e-mail sent to you. When you click there, your cancellation will be made according to the ticket cancellation rules & conditions. The amount will be refunded to the card you used.
Cancelation rules ;
- Until it is 24 hours before the departure time;
25% penalty will be deducted.
- Within the last 24 hours till 6 hours before the departure time;
The trip date of the ticket cannot be changed or turn into open ticket unless there is a valid personal reason. The ticket can only be canceled with a 50% penalty.
- Within the last 6 hours before the departure time
Trip date cannot be changed and the ticket cannot be turned into open ticket. In case of cancelation, only the tax amount is refunded. All tickets that are not used/ changed as of the closing time of the trip are considered null and no refund will be made.

Can passengers under the age of 18 travel alone?
When the minor is travelling with an identity card;
- Passengers under the age of 18 cannot go abroad without a "notarized or official consent" received from the notary public of the parent/legal guardian who will NOT travel with them.
- If the minor will travel with only the mother, a notarized or official consent of the father will be required. If the minor will travel only with the father, a notarized or official consent of the mother will be required. If the minor will travel with someone other than the parents or alone, the consent of both parents is required.
- If the child's custody is in a legal representative, a notarized or official consent is required indicating the consent of the legal representative.
IMPORTANT NOTE : If the child under the age of 18 will be traveling with a passport, the permission and notarized or official consent of their parents IS NOT required.

Which port do the ships dock in Taşucu?
After the closure of the small port in Taşucu center, all sea traffic from Taşucu is carried out from CEYPORT.
Our catamaran “Flying Anka”, “Akgünler 3” and RORO ferry “Via Mare” use CEYPORT for departure and arrival.
Our ticketed passengers are required to go to Akgünler office located in Taşucu city center and CEYPORT 2 hours before departure time and go to CEYPORT after completing boarding procedures. All passengers can use the free shuttle services between Taşucu Akgünler Office and CEYPORT.

How many suitcases can I take with me for free? Is there a weight limit?
Passenger carry-on items are limited to 2 suitcases and 1 hand bag for Sea Buses and 3 suitcases and 1 hand bag for ro-ro vessels.
There is no weight limit per piece. All baggage responsibility belongs to the owner and the carrier company is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during the voyage.
If you have more baggage than specified, extra load calculation may be made at the ports and a fee may be charged for the ticket to be issued.

Do you have shuttle buses to other cites from ports of Kyrenia and Famagusta
We don't provide shuttle bus services from the ports. You have to use taxis or local transportation means.

We carry your pets (cats, dogs and birds) free of charge. In order for your pets to travel comfortably and safely during the journey, they must be kept in a cage in which they can be comfortable and lie down.
Your small size pet can stay with you in the closed passenger lounges provided that it is in a cage. Your small pet can only enter the indoor lounges in a hard-sided cage or soft-sided cage/bag. The maximum cage size that can be taken into the lounge is 105cm x 73cm x 79cm.
Your oversized pet can travel in a cage on the ship deck where the ship personnel will show them.
We remind you that pets are not allowed in the ship cabins.
When entering Northern Cyprus with your pet;
You can bring your pet (cat, dog and bird) with you when entering Northern Cyprus. Passengers who wish to bring their pets to TRNC must obtain a “Pre-Import Permit Certificate” from the TRNC Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Veterinary Department Directorate within 30 days before entering the island and submit it to our company before the journey and to the relevant officials upon arrival in TRNC. Pets Brought with Passengers It is possible for passengers to bring 2 pets and 10 fish with them exempt from customs duties. The definition of pets is limited and defined as “cats, dogs and birds”. The transaction is carried out on the condition that a veterinary health report, certificate of origin and vaccination, identity and description document, if any, is presented and veterinary control is provided.

Turkish citizens who reside temporarily to work, to study, etc. cannot take the TRNC plated vehicles to Turkey if their residence in TRNC is terminated and they are returning to Turkey for good.
The requirement of staying in TRNC for 185 days in the last year is checked by the Turkish customs administration at each entrance and those who meet this requirement are given an entry permit. TC citizens can check the exit/entrance dates on the webpage below;
